Summary

Anabrid is a growing deep-tech startup working on the next generation of semi-quantum computers. This is a challenging field that involves fundamental research and is challenging to communicate. Nevertheless we have a growing global community of highly interested people, companies and universities. Therefore, we look for a student assistant or a working student (trainee) interested in social media communication, science communication, customer retention, community building as well as designing promotional material.

This position supposed to be a part-time job, for instance with 20 hours per week or 10 hours per week. This is a typical full time (20h) or part time (10h) student assistant position. Payment follows the standard wage agreement for undergraduate assistants (around 12€/h, depending on your academic progress/degrees).

Responsibilities

• Manage and post to our social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Youtube, Instagram, etc.).
• Write news, blog posts, updates on our websites.
• Assist to design dissemination material, brochures and layouts.
• Develop communication strategies in close cooperation with the managament.

Minimum Qualifications

• Willingness to learn about latest technologies in artificial intelligence and quantum computing. High degree of motivation, committment, initiative and team spirit.
• Experiences in social media communication.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English (spoken and written).
• General higher education entrance qualification (Abitur) and enrolled as a student in a university or university of applied sciences (FH).
• Good computing skills. Experience in graphics and design, such as Adobe Photoshop.

Prefered Qualifications

• Experience in web design and technologies (HTML, CSS, etc.).
• Experience in science communication and project work.
• Enrolled as a student in a field of science, engineering, computer science or mathematics.
• Outstanding track record in extracurricular activities, voluntary activities, side projects or similar.
• Proven experience for running/feeding a blog, podcast, vlog or similar for a longer period.
